Akweni Group wins large company of the year at annual Ghana Awards

Akweni attended the annual Ghana Awards SA at Asanka Restaurant in Rivonia, Johannesburg on 26 August 2017.

The Event, powered by GASA, strives to celebrate the achievement of Ghanaians in a first class, red carpet event whilst encouraging ground-breaking work that benefits Ghana and South Africa.

It was a glamorous event attended by business leaders and influential political leaders such as the Ghana High Commissioner, His Excellency Mr George Ayisi Boating, members of the diplomatic corps and Ellen Tshabalala, the SABC former Chairperson.

With thousands of votes from the public we were honoured to walk away with the Large Company of the Year award, and are very proud of our CEO Anthony Afordofe for receiving the award for Ghanaian making an impact in the community.
